Zeus on Metairie Rd.

It's Carnival Time!!

This year saw the kick off to Mardi Gras early with some special routes.

On Saturday the Krew of Zeus rolled on the former traditional Metairie route to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Zeus was the first night parade to roll outside of Orleans.

The parade began at 41st Street and Severn (Rummel High School) and turned right on Metairie Road. Then it took a left on Bonnabel to Hesoid Street and then turned back from Bonnabel to Metairie Road, and ended at Focis Street.

So, I was there with my camera to catch a parade on Metairie Road. Enjoy and Happy Mardi Gras!
